HOST FAMILY RECRUIT
& SUPPORT

A key role of the LC is matching students with host families, interviewing families to understand their interests and guiding them through the placement process. The LC stays in contact throughout the year for support.

Your key role is matching students with caring host families.

MENTORING &
GUIDING STUDENTS

You're the main point of support for all aspects of the student’s daily life.

Living in a new place with a different culture, environment, and language can be daunting for young participants. By building bonds before departure and welcoming them on arrival, LCs become the go-to resource for anything related to the student's daily life.

LCs play a key role in highlighting the benefits of enrolling international students, showing school leaders how cultural exchange enriches the classroom. They handle paperwork for student placement and serve as the primary contact for the school.

A CULTURAL EXCHANGE AMBASSADOR

The more involved you are, the more rewarding the experience.

Cultural exchange is a shared experience. The more the community invests and engages, the more rewarding it becomes for all. LCs raise awareness by promoting the program’s benefits to community leaders and media, while encouraging students to volunteer and get involved.
